Educated Communities Help Others (ECHO) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit rooted in Clifton, New Jersey, with a bold mission:

Our mission is to empower and uplift residents of New Jersey through educational initiatives and community engagement.

At ECHO, we believe knowledge has the power to transform lives. That’s why we meet people where they are, offering workshops that teach practical life skills, classes that spark new passions, and events that build bridges between neighbors. From young students to adults navigating career changes or new beginnings.

WHAT WE ARE COMMITTED TO DOING...

As a community and in working towards the actualization of our mission, there are three major projects that we carry out and we would love to make you a beneficiary.

We Educate

ECHO is an organization set up to dispense knowledge. We provide access to diverse educational programs where the knowledge and skills required to succeed is given to individuals. Our available courses range from financial literacy to computer courses, to “English as Second Language. [ESL] and citizenship classes. These courses are comprehensive enough to cater for our observed societal needs.

We Equip

Skills and knowledge can be wasted without the proper tools to put them to good and profitable use. ECHO is an intentional organization and we provide practical materials and necessary resources required to succeed. We ensure that participants in our programs are well prepared to thrive in today's world by providing job training, career development and essential life skills.

We Empower

ECHO believes in fostering self sufficiency and confidence. We understand that confidence comes with knowledge, and you can be self-sufficient when you receive support. Our initiatives are thereby aimed at providing the support and knowledge needed to empower individuals. This empowerment will help you overcome challenges, achieve your goals, and lead a fulfilling lifestyle.
